ABOUT THE APP
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Every entry is saved straight to the phone, so you can log a fill-up in a garage with no signal just as well.
Does it handle an EV or a hybrid?
Yes. For an EV we track kWh instead of litres, and for a plug-in hybrid both separately — so you can see how much you really drove on the battery.
How many vehicles can I keep?
One vehicle is included in the free version. The PRO subscription unlocks further vehicles and the mileage log.
What will PRO cost?
We will announce the price at launch. The subscription is taken out through the App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled there at any time. Sign up before launch and you get 50 % off the first billing period.
Does a trailer or a working machine fit in the garage?
Yes. Besides cars and motorbikes you can add a trailer, caravan, quad bike, tractor or forklift. Machines are measured in engine hours instead of distance, and the reminders follow those.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works without signing up and your data stays on your phone, or in a backup you save yourself. We have no access to the contents of your garage.
What happens to my data if I lose the phone?
Your data lives only on your phone, so without a backup it is gone. The app lets you export a backup to a file whenever you like — where you keep that file is up to you. Do it regularly; nothing is backed up automatically.
WHAT THE TERMS MEAN
What is a mileage log?
A record of trips with the date, route, purpose and odometer reading. Anyone using a car for business uses it to show the split between business and private kilometres. What exactly is required differs by country and by how you claim the costs — check with your accountant.
What is a service log?
A chronological list of everything that happened to the car — oil changes, repairs, tyres, roadworthiness tests. Each entry carries a date, an odometer reading, a price and a document. Before you sell, it becomes a PDF that shows how you looked after the car.
What is odometer tampering?
Rolling back the recorded distance so a car looks less used. It shows up as a mismatch between documents: service records, inspection reports and receipts carry higher figures than the odometer. That is exactly why a documented history with dates and distances is worth something when you sell.
How is full-to-full consumption calculated?
You fill the tank, drive, and at the next full fill-up the litres are divided by the distance covered. That is why the first figure is only indicative and the accuracy arrives with the second full tank.
Does the service log replace the manufacturer service book?
No. The service book from the manufacturer is the official warranty document and the stamps still belong in it. Najeto is your own record on top — with documents, photos and figures that were never in the book.
Do the reminders replace keeping track of deadlines?
No. Reminders are an indicative aid. Keeping your roadworthiness test, insurance and other documents valid remains your responsibility — Najeto only helps you not to forget.
